Berdimuhamedov appoints the first Ambassador of Turkmenistan to South Africa

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed a decree on the appointment of Batyr Rejepov as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Republic of South Africa, the “Vatan” news program of the Turkmen television reported today.

At the same time, B. Redzhepov will continue to act as Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Kazakhstan (with residence in Nur-Sultan), to which he was appointed in January 2021. Previously, he served as Head of the Middle East Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
